The Hawaii Cropland Data Layer (HCDL) is the first-ever raster, geo-referenced, crop-specific land cover data layer for Hawaii. The USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) produced the HCDL at a 10-meter spatial resolution for the years 2023, 2024 and 2025. The 2023 and 2024 data was first released to the public August 25, 2025 representing version 2.0. The 2023 and 2024 data were reprocessed using improved training input and released alongside the new 2025 Hawaii CDL on the official download website: https://www.nass.usda.gov/Research_and_Science/Cropland/Release/index.php.

More detailed metadata will be published soon along with making the data available on CroplandCROS (https://croplandcros.scinet.usda.gov/) and CropScape (https://nassgeodata.gmu.edu/CropScape/).
